The first tender seeking horizontal directional drilling (HDD) has been released by Allconnex Water, who require the construction of 100 mm to 225 mm diameter watermains by HDD at three locations in the Logan district, Queensland.

The second tender, which is also Queensland-based and seeking HDD, has been released by Energex, who require a panel of suppliers to provide the resources and equipment to supply and install electrical conduits utilising HDD where open trenching is not suitable. This panel may be used to supplement civil works projects.
